Today’s ad is for a copywriter for Martindale-Hubbell (see our disclaimer).

As advertised on Craigslist:

Martindale-Hubbell, a leading provider of law firm marketing services, seeks writers to create content for our clients’ websites.

You’ll receive a creative brief, do your own research on the client’s legal practice areas, and write according to our format and style guidelines.

The pay:

Rate is $40 per page. The minimum number of words required on each page varies by assignment, from 250 to 500 words.

Read the full ad here. And if 8 to 16 cents per word is a rate that appeals to you, check out the following e-book, which lists dozens of markets paying 10 to 15 cents per word:

Why buy an e-book? Unlike ads, which are often focused on temporary needs and may expire quickly, the markets listed in our e-books for writers are generally stable, long-term opportunities that give you the chance to build relationships with editors and make on-going submissions to the publications you wish to write for.
